The Keilkeller waterfall is a real force of nature. You can feel the power of nature. And see how nature finds its way. Something flowing that never ends. On the way to the waterfall, you come across the Wildenmann rock in the forest with the ‘thumbprint of a giant’. You should know - there used to be giants in the Zillertal :) Perhaps you can find out more about the legend of how the giant's thumbprint got into the rock.

Naturally special.

  • The ‘fairytale forest trail’ to the waterfall.
  • A real insider tip: you will rarely meet other people along the way.
  • The perfect ‘rain walk’ if you want to experience something special.

Real No-Gos.

  • Standing directly below the waterfall - far too dangerous!
  • Careless steps at the waterfall - be careful!
  • Walking the path in flip-flops - you need sturdy shoes

Have you ever taken a ‘natural shower’?

Okay, admittedly, you're actually standing in the spray of the Keilkeller waterfall - but that doesn't make it any less cool on hot days. If you've never experienced this before, then it's high time you did! Of course, this refreshment doesn't come without some effort. You have to enjoy the journey there first. Because - hand on heart - a shower only really makes sense if you've worked up a sweat first, right?
