We came up with the idea of discovering herbs when a herbalist came to visit us. We couldn't stop marvelling because there was so much to discover and experience. Discovering herbs may sound boring or not very special at first - but it's not! You'll be surprised once you've tried it. We certainly were.

It's so simple and normal that it's actually special again. And what we can guarantee: you'll never go for a normal walk again and see nature and herbs with different eyes.

Naturally special

  • Your perception of nature will change.
  • From now on, you will always discover something new in the meadows and forests.
  • You will learn how to use herbs. Knowledge that is unknown to most people.

Real no-gos

  • Disinterest: Your surroundings deserve your attention, so be curious!
  • Boredom: This word will disappear from your vocabulary after this discovery tour.
  • Underestimating how cool the whole thing is :)

What do you need?
First of all, a certain amount of curiosity and a herb book. You'll find one in our bookcase in the lobby. Then maybe a few tips from our Nadine ... and off you go to the meadows and neighbouring forests.

You don't have to go anywhere in particular for this activity, but of course you need ‘green under your feet’. So you can start by simply visiting our garden before heading out into the meadows and neighbouring woods. No matter what you're in the mood for - you'll find something interesting everywhere.
Look around you and search in the herb book for the plants that surround you. You'll be amazed at how much ‘useful undergrowth’ grows around you. And the cool thing is: you can find many plants and herbs just about anywhere.

Stinging nettle:
This supposedly annoying herb is a real superfood. Whether as a spinach substitute, in soup or as a vitality tonic - stinging nettle is full of valuable nutrients such as protein, vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids.

Ribwort plantain and broadleaf plantain:
Perfect for the first herbal snack on the go. Both are edible and have numerous health benefits.

Sorrel, ground ivy (ground ivy):
These treasures of nature are not only delicious, but also good for your health.
